Hair Style Question.?

I am a male, '30 something' professional with thin, natural blonde hair. I have worn the same style, which is parted down the middle, for many years. I am interested in changing hair styles but am at a loss as to what I should do. Can anyone suggest a hair style that will look good with thin hair, make my hair look thicker, works well in the corporate world, and does not look outdated. Thanks.

Hair Style Question.?

Keep your hair no longer than 2" on top (part on side vs down the middle...middle parts are dated) clippered with 1/2 to 3/4" on sides and back and blend into the top at the temples. (no weight lines...very dated). Depending on how blonde you are, you may want to consider depening your color a bit to appear a bit thicker, no more than 2 levels. Good luck!

Hair Style Question.?

have you checked out harrison ford lately, that little spiked hair is very sexy and very professional.

Hair Style Question.?

A crew cut is nice but if you don't want it that short try slicking it back. Good luck

Hair Style Question.?

a messy shorter look is always in and it works for business or casual. I love blonde hair in this look!

Shaving Hair?

I have a friend who has very thing hair in the front of her scalp and was thinking about shaving her hair off so that it can regrow. So my question is, will shaving hair on head regrow her hair differently so that the thin hair area on her scalp will no longer be there?

Shaving Hair?

No, the only reason as to why you may think that is because people tend to think that shaving will make hair grow back thicker. It really doesnt, shaving cuts hair bluntly which gives the appearance of it being thicker when it really isnt.

Does waxing really make the hair grow back thinner and lighter?

It is said that waxing and shaving makes no difference and the hair grows back exactly the same. Those who wax say that shaving makes hair thicker and darker, and vice versa. Is there anyone who has tried both or waxed for a long period of time? Does waxing really make the hair thinner? On personal experience, my hairs that were previously pulled out now appear darker and thicker-- and no i don't think i imagine it. So does waxing make hair come back thinner after many times, anyone have recommend waxing or prove that it made hair thinner?

Does waxing really make the hair grow back thinner and lighter?

its true trust me from personal experience. waxing lasts wayyyyyyy longer and comes back lighter and finer each time so that after awhile hair will harbly grow back at all. shaving just cuts the hair follicle so it doesnt really go away but comes back thicker.!!!

Does waxing really make the hair grow back thinner and lighter?

It is possible because with waxing you are pulling the hair from the roots whereas with shaving you are only shaving off what is above the surface and the root is still there. It takes longer for your hair to grow with waxing and it does come in finer.

Does waxing really make the hair grow back thinner and lighter?

yes it really does and eventually the follicle dies...then their is no hair

its true

dying will kill your hair extremly fast!!! my mom dyes hers blonde alot and it doesnt grow anymore because it breaks off on the ends and just looks horrible. i suggest you stop dying it all hair dye frys your hair. I currently use Biotin 5,000 iu, vitamin E, vitamin B-12 and a multivitamin. Alot of hair growth is from the inside out. Avacado oil also has alot of vitamins and is great for the scalp and you can also try lavander oil. i suggest you make sure your hair is deeply conditioned once a week. i personally love the avacado oil (rub into your scalp and hair really well) (buy at healthfood stores) and then on top of that rub in the hemp and placenta mix (packets at walmart in hair section) you can also use olive oil as a great moisturizer as well. make sure to wrap your head in a warm heated towel for about 30 mins or so and then rinse really well. Don't shampoo though or else you undo what you have done. My hair came out super soft and not at all greasy, and very tangle free. i suggest you make sure your hair is deeply conditioned once a week. i personally love the avacado oil (rub into your scalp and hair really well) (buy at healthfood stores) and then on top of that rub in the hemp and placenta mix (packets at walmart in hair section) you can also use olive oil as a great moisturizer as well. make sure to wrap your head in a warm heated towel for about 30 mins or so and then rinse really well. That could be due to a hormonal imbalance or endocrine issue. Consult your doc for some blood work to check that.

Are you using a flat iron on it? It will definatly thin out your hair!

Another hair dyeing question?

Okay well, for those of u that already know, I dyed my hair like a month and 1 week ago and at 1st we just wanted to fix my blonde hair w/ more blonde dye but it turned barbie blode so we tried to fix that w/ ash blonde and it turned grey! so then we tried to fix that with strawberry blonde and it pretty much helped. now my hair is sorta dark blonde but they grey is starting to come back. I want to dye my hair light blonde w/ darker brown highlights. can n e 1 give me n e suggestions on what I cud do to fix it, asap ? or like how long I should w8 to dye it? I'de also like it if there are any good suggestions of places to get hair cuts at bcuz I want to get a sorta scene-ish-preppy hair cut [ suggestion pics wud be nice ;) ] [and ez volumizing techniques that work bcuz I have super thin hair]

btw, my hair didnt fall out and I got all the fried ends cut off a couple weeks ago. I use aussie 3 minute miracle also so my hair isnt super dry really.

Another hair dyeing question?

Wow you sound just like me :] I had dyed my hair soo many times that it was falling out and going crazy.

I would recommened you going to a salon and ask them for advice. Your hair will probably need a deep conditioning treatment to put nutrients back into your damaged hair. At that point you could also get your hair cut in a really edgy fun way. (The stylist will know what looks best for your face).

I am not sure where you live , so I can't really recommend any particular salon. I would ask around, and even get a consultation at the salon to make sure you are comfortable with the products they use and their level of experience.

I would NOT do your hair yourself. I'm sure you probably don't want another mishap, so it is definately best to go to a salon.

Hair thinning on the crown. Anyone used Regaine before? Looking for pros and cons regarding its use?

Hi all, I am 27 and for the past 2 years, the hair on the crown of the head has started thinning rapidly. I have read a couple of articles on the internet about using 'Regaine' hair products to stimualte hair growth. I was wondering if anyone out there has been using these products, and can offer any advice regarding going for it, or not. Thanks, VJ

Hair thinning on the crown. Anyone used Regaine before? Looking for pros and cons regarding its use?

Hi, VJ,

I have read about the great results achieved by using Regaine.

I was slowly loosing my hair and went to buy the product.

Unfortunately once at home, I read at the packet that it was not suitable for the over sixties so I had to returned it.

I wish I could have been able so use it and maybe see some good reults.

You are luckier. Right age.

Wish you the best of luck.

Once suggestion, though, if it doesn't work for you, you can always try rubbing the spot with avocado oil.

Is working slowly for me. At least the hair is not falling so much.

Cheers,
