My friend got me these 18" long hair extensions and i adore them a couple of months ago! I love how long they are, LOL only problem is, my hair is shoulder length. So it doesn't really look that good when i put the extensions on. I really do not wanna cut of the extensions cause i am saving my hair to long hair.
I have extremly thin hair so i can only layer the xtensions 2 or 3 rows. And sometimes, i worry that the "clip on's" are visible.
Does anyone have any ideas of what i should do? and how i can aviod showing where my hair ends and where the extensions begin.
I was thinking of trying to curl it, but thats only gonna make the hair come off as even thinner.
ANY HELP HERE PLEASE?

Problems with my hair extensions.?
Do big loose messy curls. That's what most people do when they want to hide them..

dont worry about cutting your extensions a good thing to do is ask your hair dresser to blend them with your natural hair like layers and stuff!
gooooood luck! :)

I always straighten my hair and put a little oil sheen in before I put extensions in .It helps the natural hair blend in better.I know you don't want to cut it,but if you layer it in semi-long layers, your natural hair will blend in. Or you try using an 8" or 10", until your hair gets a little longer.

try getting a 10 inch for top or a 12inch cause i have shoulder length hair and it blends well with the 18 inch
i have a picture of my hair the top is a 10inch and the bottom is a 18 http://i27.tinypic.com/i44f1h.jpg

Hair extensions should be placed very low on your head. Especially so for the first row. By doing this you will avoid that "cut-off" look you can get if there is a big difference in length between youir hair and the extensions.
Clip-on's suck! Trust me on that one honey. Of course the clips are going to show! They're clips! Your best bet for lengthening your hair is to bond the extensions. This is a very easy process and lasts for up to a week before you must remove them and reapply them. Also, you have more control over where they are placed.

Good luck and hair's to ya,
