I was on prednisone for 2 months. 2 months after stopping drug I noticed hair thinning!!!?

I have been told that prednisone interferes with the growth cycle of the hair. I have some new hair coming in but not fast enough to keep up with all that is falling out. Anyone had a similar experience?? and how long does hair continue to thin? very distressing please help!!!

Hair loss on temples please help!?

I am 16 and have very very thin hair. My whole scalp is visable and has been like this since 14. Blood tests have been done and all is ok.

I think it could be male pattern baldness as my dad is bald, but no one has lost there hair on my mums side.

Do you lose hair on the temples with male pattern baldness? My temples are just as thin as my top and my dad has more hair on his temples compared to me.

They have these devices called epilators now, and they look kinda like electric shavers. Basically there are pieces inside it that pluck your body hairs from your skin. It's similar to tweezing, but more at a time. I will not lie, it does hurt a bit but it's not unbearable. Waxing hurts a lot more.
