Think hair/bed hair?

Hi, I am a 15 year old male. I have what seems to be thin hair. When I wake up, my hair looks like this: http://thumb4.webshots.net/t/64/564/4/64... and this http://thumb4.webshots.net/t/58/658/8/86... .

When I am outide, my hair blows in the wind very easily and is very weak. It becomes messy easiliy, like if I change for gym, etc. Most guys seem like their hair doesnt really move a lot like mine, mine is a mess. here is what it looks like when i shower (which I have to do daily for my hair)

http://thumb4.webshots.net/t/55/555/8/96...

So, I guess my hair is thin. It is also staticy. What can I do to fix these problems? Preferably a new shampoo- I use Suave for Men right now. No conditioner- my hair is hydrated enough. Any tips/ help with this? It is a big problem. I want it to look the same all the time, be thicker, and stronger. No gells. Thanks! PLEASE HeLP! shaggy is ok too

Think hair/bed hair?

try using a thickening shampoo and the reason your hair is static is because you don't use conditioner a little once a week isn't going to harm your hair only tame it.....

Think hair/bed hair?

Those are some seriously funny photos. I understand protecting your identity...but hehe that's pretty silly.

Conditioner isn't all about hydration. If your hair has static it could benefit from a dose of conditioner. Try not washing it every day to let some natural oil stay in it.

Suave for men is basically detergent in a bottle and isn't very good for anyone's hair. Try a thickening shampoo. A pomade will also weigh the hair down, keep it in place and cut down on the frizz. It's better than gel because it doesn't flake or dry the hair out more (gel may because it has alcohol in it).

If the shaggy look isn't working for you and you don't feel like doing the maintenance, cut it off. Even the most casually beautiful people don't get that way by doing nothing.

Think hair/bed hair?

Mousse would make it thicker if you want to try that, or a thickening shampoo, or lots of layers. For staticy hair rub a dryer sheet on it! It totally works and makes it smell good too :)

Oily/Dry Hair Products?

I have long, thin hair that is oily at the roots but the rest is dry. I just switched to professional products but find that they aren't working any better than store bought products. Is there a shampoo that will get rid of excess oil without drying out my hair? And I am also looking for any recommendations for a really good conditioner or mask for my hair

Oily/Dry Hair Products?

I'm a hairdresser and love professional products and sell them, but I was recently on vacation and forgot my shampoo so I used Aussie cleanse and mend!! It will be perfect!! It says for hair with oily roots and frazzled ends!!! I loved it so much!!! You should try it!! You can get it at a drug store or walmart

Oily/Dry Hair Products?

Neutrogena Triple Moisture.

Is my hair thinning?

I'm a 17 year old male and have relatively long hair and around the crown it looks pretty thin, but really only under bright light. My dad started losing his hair in his 20s. Should I be worried or does it just look bad because my hair is long?

Is my hair thinning?

It really could be both.

Is my hair thinning?

Prob just looks bad cause your hair is so long.Keeping your hair short and kinda long on top is a great option cause you could use volumizing creams and fluff it up enough to cover it.

Ways to strengthen and rejuvenate thinning hair?

I am 25/male. I know all the facts about baldeness and hair-loss being hereditary and depends on diet. I wish to know if there are any oils/shampoo/other natural products that help me (not in curing bald spots), but just to retain the hair that I have and prevent them from falling off or thinning? Any special diet requirements/supplements that someone knows of (other than high protein ofcourse)? Please let me know if you do and help me get married!!!!! Thanks a bunch.

Ways to strengthen and rejuvenate thinning hair?

I am a cosmetologist and one crucial thing that many people forget about is conditioner. Shampoo helps, but you need conditioner with protein also. Cholesterol and keratin rich conditioners and shampoos should also work well for you.

Ways to strengthen and rejuvenate thinning hair?

Alright, I'll tell you the secret but if you don't try it, its your own fault!!

There is a synthesized B vitamin compound called Procaine or GH3.

Its perfectly natural, and won't make you sick.

Science is coming to the conclusion that illnesses, and even things like baldness and brittle nails is not a problem with say, your hair follicles or nails or respiratory sytem, but rather a problem with the cells that compose it.

So what this vitamin does is heal the body at a cellular level.

All the chemicals and crap we put in our bodies nowadays causes it not to function right and this will get your hair follicle cells functioning properly.

Although it sometimes takes up to 6 weeks before you start seeing change, because your body must repair itself.

Go to www.cellhealthmakeover.com

the best one is Vitacel 9 but all of them have GH3 and some are less expensive!!

Good luck!

Ways to strengthen and rejuvenate thinning hair?

Dabur Amla Hair Oil - it's herbal from India. I have never used it just heard it was very good. You can buy it on http://www.ebay.com/ for real cheap.

Ways to strengthen and rejuvenate thinning hair?

Here are some hair growing tips:

1. Eliminate or cut back on smoking, caffeine and carbonated sodas which weaken the body and block maximum hair growing potential.

2. Eat a healthy diet. Avoid foods that are high in sugar or fat.

3. Treat your hair like a piece of fine old lace. Treat it carefully avoiding any unnecessary brushing, combing or handling.

4. Avoid use of hot water, hot blow dryers or other hair care tools that may stress the hair.

5. Have a weekly scalp massage to provide stimulation to the hair follicles.

6. Do a series of ongoing hot oil treatments to protect the hair's shaft.

7. Have regular trims to eliminate split ends and allow the hair to look and feel healthier.

8. Get plenty of rest and sleep to allow your body to grow hair.

Is there a tool that makes your hair thinner?

I have really thick hair and I really want it to thin out. Does anyone know if theres a tool that maybe a hair dressers uses that makes your hair thinner? Thanks.

Is there a tool that makes your hair thinner?

I use a straight razor to thin out the bulk in hair...Make sure that you go to someone who knows what they are doing...Contact Bumble and Bumble and ask for a stylist that has been through their razor training.....

Is there a tool that makes your hair thinner?

Yes it is called scissors go to a salon and tell them that you want your hair to be thinned out, but not shorter

Is there a tool that makes your hair thinner?

so what i do is i go to the shower condition my hair, then the next day i DONT brush my hair, then the NEXT day i brush my hair and it becomes silky and thinner!

Hope that helped,

~Tropical blast

aka: try it! It worked for 20 people so far!!

Is there a tool that makes your hair thinner?

I have really thick hair too. Don't thin it out too much. when u get a lot older u will be so-oo-oo happy to have thick hair. that way if u lose any or like have different hairstyles u will have plenty to work with. i am only 11 but thats what my parents say LOL But not too much hope i helped

Is there a tool that makes your hair thinner?

go to the hair salon and tell them you want your hair thinned out make sure they use the thinning shears. hope it helps.

Is there a tool that makes your hair thinner?

Yes, the some salons have this thinning hair tool. It is a like wierd pair of scissors and they use it to then out the hair. I saw it on one of the Split Ends hair shows.

Is there a tool that makes your hair thinner?

There is silk therapy cream that is available in lots of supermarkets. The cream is to smoothen your hair and make your hair more silky and thin, instead of thick...

Check in the beauty cosmetics and health aisle.

Also there are thinning tools in the beauty salon.

Good luck!

Is there a tool that makes your hair thinner?

Hair thinning shears. They can make that hair lay down and stay in control. When used properly, the hair will be thinner and look more sheer.

Also, use a heavier conditioner for thick hair. Go professional do not use over the counter products. Also, do not get your hair short layered, it will make it puff out and have more body.

Is there a tool that makes your hair thinner?

I personally use a hair straightener

but it takes really long to do it.

you just keep going over the same chunk of hair untill you get it perfectly thin.

hope it helped=]

Is there a tool that makes your hair thinner?

Yes there is one that basically feathers your hair. they can do it so your hair is thinner go into a hair dressers or call one up and tell them you want your hair thinner and they will do this for you! i also find syrum helps. if you put a pea sized (or smaller) into your hands and rub it in then rub through your hair, not at the roots though or your hair will be very greesy

Is there a tool that makes your hair thinner?

thick hair is equal to healthy. just make it soft , conditioner shampoo .

and for hair care and skin care just try it in

Wonderful hair dye?

I want to dye my hair on my own bc my hair dresser is charging me too much and to be honest she is really the only good hair dresser in town and i dont trust anyone else. but last time i dyed my hair she charged me close to 200 dollars! i cant afford that, especially when i start living on my own. i have really thin hair and its very fragile. what are some good hair dyes i could get a walgreens or walmart for thin hair. and i dont want something to damage my hair either.

Wonderful hair dye?

I wouldnt use any of the hair product from grocery stores...Harsh, and the color dont come out true...Besides, the application is key, and most people dont know how to apply it properly..They just put it all over the head..Cant get a good color doing it that way..All depends on what you have to start with in your natural or base color...200.00 dollars is alot for color..Try getting some one else, to do it..Maybe the next town over. It might be worth the drive..but dont do it yourself.

Wonderful hair dye?

If your hair is that thin and fragile you shouldn't be colouring it at all and your hairdresser should have told you that!! She knows you don't trust anyone and thats why she charges you so much! Find somewhere else and remember, they are obiliged to fix it for free if they mess up. But if I were you, I'd leave it for 6 months to a year and get some deep conditioning treatments on it instead

Wonderful hair dye?

I dye my own hair and it works just fine. But i do agree, don't get hair color from the grocery store they aren't as nice to your hair. What you can do is use what i use. Its called Wella's Hair color. You can find it at pretty much any beauty store in town depending on where you live i guess but its not expensive at all and its really good to your hair. You will need to buy the base for it too, you can find it there as well. I have really thick hair so i have to buy a couple boxes and it still only ends up costing me $12 altogether so if you have thinner hair i am sure it will be cheaper.....TRY IT.

O by the way my hair stylist recommended it to me because i couldn't afford to have her dye my hair either.

My male cat has patches of thinning hair.?

He is a 9 year old neutered male who is strictly a house cat. He is primarily white and has always had "delicate: skin; prone to cat acne. He is overweight and carries alot of extra weight in his belly. He eats the cat food (he shares with my 2 slender Persians) and then eats the dogs food! Any idea as to why he is getting thinning patches of hair?

My male cat has patches of thinning hair.?

There are many reasons your cat may be losing patches of hair. Is he itchy? If he is itchy, that is one thing. If he is not itchy, and losing his hair, I would be more concerned. The possibilities include:

1) fleas (including flea allergy)

2) allergies to the environment or food

3) skin infection (bacterial, fungal, mites, other)

4) metabolic disease (i.e. related to liver issues, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, etc)

5) skin cancer

There are other causes as well, these are just a few. You really should schedule an appointment with your kitty's vet so he/she can check him out, do some tests, and let you know what they think the problem is.

5)

My male cat has patches of thinning hair.?

Make sure you regularly check for fleas.

it maybe a skin condition and if it gets worse take him to the vets.

My male cat has patches of thinning hair.?

he might be nutrition deprived or he may have feline leukemia...you may want to have the vet check him...

My male cat has patches of thinning hair.?

I think he is overfed. Though you should see the vet. asap.

My male cat has patches of thinning hair.?

It could be an allergy,or it could be a hormone imbalance or thyroid problems. The best way to know ---go to vet...

My male cat has patches of thinning hair.?

I'd have the vet check him for a fungus -- particularly ringworm (which is a fungus that humans can catch from their cats). More typically, the fungus creates bare spots, but it's worth making sure he doesn't have it. If the bare spots are between his ears and eyes, that's just genetic.

Other possibilities include overgrooming (he's licking himself so much in certain spots that the hair is coming out), which may be related to flea bites, allergies (including food sensitivities), or just plain stress.

My male cat has patches of thinning hair.?

He may have picked up some sort of mange, or he may have Feline Eczima (sp?). Your best bet would be to take him to the vet...it may not be anything serious.

Thinning hair in chihuahua?

my 3 year chihuahua has been gradually losing his hair. He doesn't have any bald spots but seems to be thinning especially around the side of his head and body. Recently I've been noticing dark spots developing all over his body and head some look like freckles and others are the size of a pencil eraser. He doesn't act sick but now I'm beginning to worry if something serious is wrong with him please help.

Thinning hair in chihuahua?

Definately see the vet about this. It could be the food or an allergy or a thyroid problem. I wouldnt wait any longer, see the vet asap. Good luck

Thinning hair in chihuahua?

I would take a trip to my vet to find out the problem. Without seeing the problem it's impossible to tell. Seeing none of us are vets even if we could the best we could do is hazzard a guess.

Good luck./ Hope it's nothing serious.

Thinning hair in chihuahua?

Take it to your vet for some test it could be food allergies or something he is being bath it or about any thing just go see that he is not sick

Does thinning your hair look good?

i don`t get how they thin your hair with these special scissors or whatever in different sections. wouldn`t that be like uneven layers? so if i like tie my hair up some parts of my hair might not fit into the ponytail? and how much does it cost?

Does thinning your hair look good?

I got my hair cut today and they used thinning scissors cause i have thick hair. It didnt cost any extra.

Does thinning your hair look good?

Only if your hair is really thick or flat. Those scissors can add texture and character to your hair. I mean nothing in life is perfect and your hair should fit in with everything else don't you think? I mean who wants flat, mediocre, lifeless, plain, dull, boring hair. Livin it up a little..........

Does thinning your hair look good?

Don't do it, unless you have thick hair. They always try to sneek in a thinning cut, those sneeky b*tches!

Does thinning your hair look good?

My friend got her hair thinned...not really sure how it works-Said it hurt a lot. I think her hair looks bad thinned out. Personally, thick hair looks better. If you leave it alone, then u dont spend the money on having it thinned. Also, once u have it thinned, u have to keep going back to maintain the look.

Does thinning your hair look good?

well when you get hair thinin by thining scissors it doesn't really work.

i got my haircut called "face-frame"

and my hair got better.

and if you do get this haircut.

tell them to use thining scissors for the longer layor.

hope it works

Does thinning your hair look good?

My hair is naturally thick and it has been driving me insane for years. Hopefully some day i will be able to get my hair thinned or something because I'm sick of people asking me if i have a dog on my head!

Does thinning your hair look good?

ask your hairdresser about it.

they are there to make you look good and do the best for you.

just explain to them that it needs to be able to put in a ponytail or how every your wear your hair

i was nervous the first time i got my hair thinned but i also got some steaks of colour through it and it actually looked really good.

and i am still able to get my hair in a ponytail.

good luck

Does thinning your hair look good?

My hair is so thick that every time I go get a hair cut, I tell the barber to thin my hair and he always does. I like my hair short and stylishly handsome... I have an image to uphold.

Does thinning your hair look good?

It's not any extra...I've been getting my hair thinned my entire life, because it's so thick and unruly. They usually do it all over for me, and it doesn't affect what I want to do with my hair. If the stylist is skilled with the scissors, then you just get an overall lighter effect. I love it! It makes me not have sweaty head and bad hair days. Even with the thinning, my hair is nowhere near a "normal" weight. lol I would only do it if you have hair to spare. Otherwise, if you just want texture, you can get it razored/texturized.

Does thinning your hair look good?

there's scissors to do that

and i know its crazy!

thinning ur hair.

layering it and stuff

u can go to any hair salon place and ask if they sell it :]

Does thinning your hair work?

I have very thick hair and I would really like to get it thinned but I don't know if it really makes it thinner and if it's worth it. I'm afraid of it getting too thin or something. So do you recommend getting your hair thinned?

Does thinning your hair work?

I have very thick hair as well, and I thin it every now and then.

The process of thinning your hair involves scissors, but the scissors have special blades that do not cut through your hair.

They simply thin it.

Don't worry, your hair won't become too thin, for it is impossible for the thinning scissors to do that.

I highly recommend that you thin your hair.

It makes your hair less heavy, easier to manage, and easier to wash.

Hope this helps! =]

Does thinning your hair work?

get 3 or 4 layers and straighten your hair it will look good! =]]]]

Does thinning your hair work?

i wouldn't. . . i know a lot of people that have thin hair and say i wish my hair was as thick as yours. . . i know its hard maintaing with thick hair but it looks better than thin hair. . .

Does thinning your hair work?

I have thick hair and get it thinned every six weeks. It's like, a gift from god! Seriously, get it done, you have nothing to worry about, but it does quickly grow back. Good luck!!!! I hope i helped!!! :)

Does thinning your hair work?

I've never had it done, but its not like your hair is going to continue falling out. My neighbor had very thick curly hair and she got it thinned, and she recommended it to me. So, i think you're safe. Hair stylists usually know the right thinness your hair needs and probably will not make it too thin, if thats what you are worried about.

Does thinning your hair work?

Honestly, I have very thick hair also and bought a pair of thinning shears for myself. I do it myself maybe twice a year and it does wonders for me. I feel so much lighter, and my hair is easier to manage. If you get it done too much, you'll have very uneven hair, but maybe two to three times a year is ok. World of difference for me.

Does thinning your hair work?

i get mine thinned out. i love it. i think you should.

My hair is freakishly thick... how do i thin it?

If you really want to fix it you can go to a salon ank them to thin it. they have a special pair of scissors and it comes out really nice.

Oh and think hair always looks better blown out, so for now make sure you do it...I have thick hair too and it takes about an hour to blow it out, but it is worth becasue it looks less thick and crazy.

My hair is freakishly thick... how do i thin it?

don't wash it everyday and use a hair wax on it! it works SO well! mine is like that too!

My hair is freakishly thick... how do i thin it?

I'm assuming your hair is all one length. If you get it layered it will make it thinner.

My hair is freakishly thick... how do i thin it?

if you like straightening it, straighten it a lot. that usually thins down your hair a lot.

My hair is freakishly thick... how do i thin it?

they can do it at a salon or you can buy thinning scissors at a beauty supply place or maybe at wal mart and do it yourself.i suggest you get it done first and let them show you how to do it right.

My hair is freakishly thick... how do i thin it?

have a hairdresser thin it. They have thinning shears.

My hair is freakishly thick... how do i thin it?

if you've got the whole triangle hair thing goin' on, definitely get lots of little layers cut; it will help to decrease the bulk of your hair and thin it out.

My hair is freakishly thick... how do i thin it?

same heer i dunno wat to do thanx 4 posting this question

My hair is freakishly thick... how do i thin it?

When you go to the salon, you can have them use thinning shears or you can do it yourself. It takes a lot of the weight off of your hair. My daughter has thick hair and I did it to her hair and it came out fabulous!

My hair is freakishly thick... how do i thin it?

If you go to your salon, you can ask the hair dresser to thin it for you. What they do is cut off a layer of hair underneath, so theres not as much hair. My friend did that and it looks great she loves her hair. Good luck :D

My hair is freakishly thick... how do i thin it?

go to ur beauty salon and ask ur stylist to cut it in LAYERS.. then ur hair will get thinner and prettier! good luck! :)

My hair is freakishly thick... how do i thin it?

go get a little trim

My hair is freakishly thick... how do i thin it?

by blow drying it.

My hair is very thick and long, should I thin it out?

What should I tell the hair salon how to cut it?

My hair is very thick and long, should I thin it out?

I WOULDNT RECOMMEND YOU THIN OUT YOUR HAIR TRUST ME , JUST GET LAYERS IN YOUR HAIR , USE THE FLAT IRON THAT WILL HELP ALOT TO MAKE YOUR HAIR LOOK THINNER BUT DNT GO THIN IT OUT

My hair is very thick and long, should I thin it out?

what ever your heart desires

My hair is very thick and long, should I thin it out?

what ever u want

My hair is very thick and long, should I thin it out?

Most men love long hair so I wouldn't cut it if I were you. But you can get a hair salon to trim it and layer it to look thinner.

My hair is very thick and long, should I thin it out?

why is long thick hair bad?

every time my ball and chain says she's going to cut her hair i beg her not to

and i'm not sure why thick is bad either

but it's really all just up to you

My hair is very thick and long, should I thin it out?

i have thick long hair and i asked for it to be cut in long layers and angled (shorter in front to longer in back) so that it lays nicer and it easier to care for.

i wouldnt get it thinned tho.

just my opinion.

if you go to a full service salon they can tell you what is best for you hair and help you find solutions for making it more manageable.

hope this helps.

My hair is very thick and long, should I thin it out?

You could a little to make it more manageable. Just be sure to go to a good salon so they do it properly. It's a blessing to have thick hair. It is stronger than the average and has more body, so don't thin it out too much. You are a blessed woman.

My hair is very thick and long, should I thin it out?

hair shouldn't take too long to groom, so if you thin it it will be that much less you have to deal with, a style that is long as you like but either layered or thinned is a great solution to keeping it looking nice.

Getting hair thinned out?

I'm thinking about getting my hair thinned out. I have short hair (just touching my shoulders) and side-sweepy bangs.

I have pretty thick hair and I'm wondering if getting it thinned will make it easier to manage [i.e., make it sit better, doesn't twist and curl in random places.]

I've had my hair thinned out before, but it was a bit longer then and I don't really remember it...

Getting hair thinned out?

go for it

Getting hair thinned out?

that sounds cool.

my hair is below my shoulders but it is sooo poofy and there is so much of it. i think straightning it out is a great idea.

best of luck with it!!!

Getting hair thinned out?

It'll help tremendously. It'll dry faster, it'll be easier to style, it won't feel so heavy...I recommend it to anyone with very thick hair.

Getting hair thinned out?

yeah, definitely go for it!

My hair is (was) thick as well... and a bit shorter than shoulder length... I hated it because it would "poof" on the sides making my face look especially rounder...

It's not that bad if your hair is dense and long cuz the weight of the hair make it stay down or put.

But on the contrary with shorter hair...

So yeah go for it... Also make sure they thin out the interior of the hair... so there wont be any shorter hairs sticking out.

I was born with thin hair HELP!!!?

Is there any kind of thickening shampoo that I can use? My hair is thin on the top and on the sides but really thick in the back of my scalp. Its genetic, from my mother. What can I do? I was thinking of getting a hair transplant to transplant some of those thick hairs on the back to the very front of my scalp.

I was born with thin hair HELP!!!?

I know there are thickening shampoos on the market, but I've never used them and can't attest to their quality.

however, AVON sells a volumizing shampoo that does work well to help hide the appearance of fine hair.

I was born with thin hair HELP!!!?

There are lots of "thickening" and "volumizing" shampoos, but I don't believe they work or people wouldn't be running around with thin hair. I would get extensions, or if it really bothers you, you can get those transplants.

I was born with thin hair HELP!!!?

Your best bet would to be to find a hairstyle that will make the parts of your hair thats thin, look fuller. My hair is really thin and straight, so recently I went to the hair salon to get a new hairstyle where my hair won't look so thin. The hairstylist cut it just above my shoulders and cut it in choppy layers. The choppy layers made my hair look MUCH fuller, and you couldnt even tell my hair is thin! Hope this helps.

I was born with thin hair HELP!!!?

You could ask your mother what shampoo (if any) she used for her hair or search online. Another method is curling your hair. That's what my mother does to make her hair look thicker.

How can i make my very thin, long (nearly down to waist) brown hair more volumous that lasts a long

No expensive stuff please. Thanks for all your help!!!

How can i make my very thin, long (nearly down to waist) brown hair more volumous that lasts a long time?

Use a volumizing shampoo, and to help lift it up spray hairspray underneath and at the roots.

How can i make my very thin, long (nearly down to waist) brown hair more volumous that lasts a long time?

get a volumizing shampoo and conditioner....

also, try gel to create bounce....or you could curl it to give it body.

How can i make my very thin, long (nearly down to waist) brown hair more volumous that lasts a long time?

try cutting ure hair in layer and some lenght..its harder to have volume with long hair. u dont need to cut alot but enought..try schunching up hair with gel and spray( i highly recomend tresemme-cheap and works wonders)..scrunch and keep adding hairspray and gel..mix gell with mousse...and ad a little more hairspray..do this while using a hairdryer to make it stay longer....hope it helps...

u can also ure extensions not to make ure hair longer but to make it look volumoutios..lol however u spell that.

have a great day

How can i make my very thin, long (nearly down to waist) brown hair more volumous that lasts a long time?

It is heavy to make that long of hair be very volumous as it will end up flattening out by the end of the day because of the weight, doesnt matter whether thin or thick it is still weight.

To get any volume you will have to shop it some. I know you dont want to but even 4 inches could help a lot. I know how you feel my friend was in the same spot. She finally did it though and she loves it. Also try getting some layers that will help.

What can help it if you blow dry your hair after a shower with a round brush. Take sections at the top and run the round brush under and the blow dryer from the side/top and from the bottom when not using the brush.

Good Luck.

How can i make my very thin, long (nearly down to waist) brown hair more volumous that lasts a long time?

get a wig.

that is how i got my afro

How can i make my very thin, long (nearly down to waist) brown hair more volumous that lasts a long time?

You need to cut it for the voluminous look. I dont mean short and definitely do not layer it if it is thin, Do a blunt cut even all around. It will take the weight off of it and allow your hair to flow and be more bouncy and full. It will still be long but why do you need it all the way to your waist. how about midback as a starter cut?

How can i make my hair THICKKER!!??...ive like tried everything and my own bff told me it was always

please help me hair ExPeRtS! thanks so much! love you loves!

How can i make my hair THICKKER!!??...ive like tried everything and my own bff told me it was always thin?

Once in ten days apply henna pack on your scalp...

Add two eggs, four tsp of lemon juice and coffee powder to henna and make a paste. Apply all over hair and scalp. Leave it for one hour. And wash it with plain water. Do not apply shampoo.

If you don't like eggs, add curd..

Note: Don't use shampoo for two days.

I have had blonde foils about 3 months ago.

I have very thin hair but a lot of it. it's wavy but not curly. Will chemically straightening work?

i had the same problem i tried the chemical straightening and it worked but it ruined my hair....as it grew out the ends were straight and the top was wavy. i had to cut my hair really short which was only to my shoulders but i was used to having longer hair..i will never chemically straighten it again because i know what it does to your hair. i have just learned to deal with my wavy hair.

I have very thin hair but a lot of it. it's wavy but not curly. Will chemically straightening work?

Dont get it chemically straightend it costs ALOT OF MONEY! and it ruins your hair permenalty. It cant be fixed and is not good for your hair.. buy a chi!

I have very thin hair but a lot of it. it's wavy but not curly. Will chemically straightening work?

i would suggest getting a straightener instead because if you get it chemically straightened its difficult to get curls or waves back until your hair grows back..

by the way if you get a straightener make sure its not a cheap one

I have very thin hair but a lot of it. it's wavy but not curly. Will chemically straightening work?

well when i was three i had the same thing but it was also curly.we moved to germany when i turned 4 and the chemicals in the bath water straightened my hair so i will have to say yes but dont use alot.

I have very thin hair but a lot of it. it's wavy but not curly. Will chemically straightening work?

if you hair is thin the best thin you can do is just let it rest. Don't flat iron to often but do go to the salon often. Don't over wash it and cut of the weak ends. Also use deep conditioners. Just simply let it be for a while then you can start to have tons of fun once you see improvements.

I have very thin hair but a lot of it. it's wavy but not curly. Will chemically straightening work?

i have the same problom dont get it chemically straightend bad idea get a plug in hair straightner and use good conditioner my hair always comes out really soft and straight and its not permanate

I have very thin hair but a lot of it. it's wavy but not curly. Will chemically straightening work?

It's best not to chemically straighten unless you use the japanese straightening systems - they last longer and are less damaging.

They are very expensive though, and maintaining it is expensive (retouches are every 3-4 months).

It will work though...but I'm not sure if your hair is in good enough condition with the blonde color. If you used bleach, it might not be a good idea. I'm not really familiar with the japanese systems as they're not very popular where I live.

Best facial hair for guys with thin cheeks?

I'm not sure how thin cheeks look like, but If he's got a thin, long face and strong cheekbones, facial hair like Adam Levine's (Maroon 5 lead singer) would be really suitable and sexy, sexier if your boy got a little haircut too.

I'm 21 yrs old. very thin moustache and not enough facial hair. any suggestion to make grow?

This makes look like only a 15yr old boy....so nly asking

I'm 21 yrs old. very thin moustache and not enough facial hair. any suggestion to make grow?

become clean shave and it looks more attractive. As you start shaving, your facial hairs also grow.

I'm 21 yrs old. very thin moustache and not enough facial hair. any suggestion to make grow?

Either you don't keep any moustache or restyle your hairstyle for a manly face. Building some muscles helps too.

A moustache doesn't necessary makes you look older, it can make u appear more messy or odd esp. if you don't hv much facial hair.

I'm 21 yrs old. very thin moustache and not enough facial hair. any suggestion to make grow?

mabie there are special products u can buy online or like at a store.....? lol or u can look it up on google cuz they have lots of interesting ideas on there :P well good luck anyway hope i helped :)

I'm 21 yrs old. very thin moustache and not enough facial hair. any suggestion to make grow?

ok drink lots of o.j calcium triggers facial hormones i suggest about 8 glasses of O.j a day that should help u wit facial hair

I'm 21 yrs old. very thin moustache and not enough facial hair. any suggestion to make grow?

I've had facial hair since I was nineteen. I looked like a little boy until I was well into my twenties, when the testosterone kicked in fully, and my moustache blossomed into the fu-manchu it is today.

My suggestion: do nothing. This problem will resolve itself.

Women will tell you to get rid of the moustache. Don't listen! If you do, next they'll have you carrying their purse!

I'm 21 yrs old. very thin moustache and not enough facial hair. any suggestion to make grow?

Personally, I think that if you do not have enough facial hair to grow a moustache then you shouldn't even try. I think it looks worse when you have a thin, teenage looking thing going on. Just stay clean cut...that way you won't have to worry about it

I'm 21 yrs old. very thin moustache and not enough facial hair. any suggestion to make grow?

shave it off not many girls like guys with a mustache i mean seriously it makes guys look icky and sick no offense

I'm 21 yrs old. very thin moustache and not enough facial hair. any suggestion to make grow?

Miracle Grow... just kidding

It'll probably grow on it's own, give it some time.

Help! Hair Loss... and I'm only 18!?

I've always had a head full of thick hair. While it's still thick, I think it's thinning. I don't see a lot of my hair fall out, but who knows. My grandpa on my mom's side was bald, so does that mean that I probably will have thin hair? I dye my hair also and use heating products to fix it. I also have a widows peek for a hairline... and I feel like it's diminishing. I'm about to finish my first year of college (straight out of high school) and I'm really nervous. No one else can tell becauase my hair is still tihick... but I definitely can tell and I don't like it. Do the anti hair loss products actually work? I would go to the doctor, but I go to school out of state and I'd just like to know something to ease my mind.

Help! Hair Loss... and I'm only 18!?

Stop dying it and using heating products. Too much damage will cause it to fall out.

Help! Hair Loss... and I'm only 18!?

"I dye my hair also and use heating products to fix it."

should stop with that then.

but if it has genetic reasons, you wont be able to do much about it except hair transplantation or stuff like that

Help! Hair Loss... and I'm only 18!?

This is most likely to be because of stress.

Help! Hair Loss... and I'm only 18!?

go to hair therapy. its not because of stress[my opinion] but maybe ur not takin care of it

Help! Hair Loss... and I'm only 18!?

Stress can cause hair loss so calm down!

It sounds lyk it's on the male part of you family not the female side.

Straighting you hair doesn't do it a world of good but invest in a good heat protector before you straighten it. Normally if you buy a good quality hair dye the come with a conditioner use it well!

Oh hair loss products don't work but there's a cow in India which is believed if it licks you head it helps your hair grow back! LOL i hope that helped ease you worry!

Help! Hair Loss... and I'm only 18!?

its normal.. im only 14 and i get hair loss well its not noticeable since it grows back i bet its stress

Help! Hair Loss... and I'm only 18!?

Hi elli,

I think it may be hormones or stress. If your grandparents were bald, this runs in your genes, so it could mean that too. You are still too young to be going through this, so I believe that it could be stress and also your hair dyes and the harsh heating products or chemicals that are damaging your scalp, roots and hair. You should go natural and stop dying your hair, also get organic shampoo and conditioner and products for your hair. I am also giving you a link for a great site that sells herbs. The master herbalist can answer your question and give you a free consultation and recommendations of products that would aid you. see below. e-mail them your problem in detail and they'll get back to you. hope this helps

Help! Hair Loss... and I'm only 18!?

you said that you just finished your first year of college right out of highscool. Congrats. That might be some of your problem. You eating habbits have changed, your sleeping patterns are all over the place and your more likely to stress more. The outside of you body thirves when the inside does. So your body just went through a stressfull period. Your hair loos is prpbablly not as serious as you would assume. Try taking a hair skin and nails vitamin. You can get this at walmart or any drug store or vitamin retail store. The blance out hair skin and nails to promote clarity and growth. Dont do anything drastic like using a hair chemical product. Your still young and your body is still changing. Take a break from straighing and hot curling your hair. Try getting roller sets or hair styles that you can wear for more than one day. Also make sure that you get you hair deeply conditiond because the dye will damage your hair and cause breakage if not taken care of. And overwashing your hair is a bad thing. Calm down dont stress.

Help! Hair Loss... and I'm only 18!?

Don't panic. Your hair naturally changes as you age, seasonally, and hormonally. If you feel that it is just starting to thin, it is not going to all fall out overnight. You can wait until a break in school and make a Dr. appt. But honestly, that really isn't even necessary. Your hair will go through cycles.

Help! Hair Loss... and I'm only 18!?

Hair 'falls' out for many reasons, stress, damage, regeneration etc. Although the hair loss gene is carried through the women it mostly affects men. A widow's peak is also hereditary.

Two things you mentioned:

1 you are finishing your first year of college (stress)

2 you use harsh products in your hair (dye and heating products)

Find a way to relax, this is different for everyone, maybe a walk in park or the beach or going to a funny movie.

Also lessen the amount of things you do to your hair. Unintentionally damaging your hair is still damaging. Your hair will appreciate this!

Remember that like skin hair regenerates it's self. It will 'fall' out to make room for new growth.

Help! Hair Loss... and I'm only 18!?

It is most likely from stress. To be on the safe side I would go to a local dermatologist and have them check it out. Then you will know for sure and treat it so your hair can start re-growing!

Good Luck!

Help! Hair Loss... and I'm only 18!?

I've been a licensed Cosmetologist for the last 23 years and also worked in the hair replacement business, there are a few factors to consider with hair growth and keeping the hair healthy. One of them is if there is not a hair root the hair will not grow no matter what you do to it, or if the hair root is in the process of dying it will cause the hair to become thin. If you have very little hair root you can do things to help it grow, but the scalp has to be healthy enough for the hair to grow but heredity plays a big part also. It's on the mothers side if her father or her brothers lost hair at an early age it's possible it could happen to you. Maybe slowing down on the coloring or making sure you are getting it done from a professional will help. Stress plays a big factor also in hair growth, so all of these things combined may contribute to hair loss. There are things you can do to promote hair growth. People who are more active like exercising helps the hair grow simply because of the blood in the body is able to circulate alot more in a even flow and that stimulates the growth, also stimulation of the scalp, (massage). Fresh air, sunshine and eating healthy, which is also good on your skin. The hair strand is dead once it is out of the scalp and it's easy to dry out and become brittle if you are not using the right kind of shampoo and conditioner. Thats where you get the split ends that you feel like you need to be trimmed to help your hair grow, but you will keep getting split ends and the hair will never grow any faster if you are using shampoo that simply dries out your hair. ONE shampoo is pert being the worst. Well water and clorine plays a factor also, I recommend you putting a spray conditioner in your hair before swimming, with well water you will need a clarifying shampoo to get the well water out, because over time the chemicals in well water will dry up the hair, the clarifying helps remove. For winter months, using a spray conditioner before drying the hair with a hair dryer. The hair is made up of protein, not calcium. If you don't like meat find other alternatives to give you the protein you need to help the hair grow. Your diet is very important, since you are in school your probably busy and trying to get things done, but remember the vitamins you put into your body comes out on your hair. For an example thats how they gather some DNA in murder cases. All of these factors could promote the hair and make it shine. Read the ingredients in your shampoo, and stay away from shampoo that uses wax for shine or alcohol. Over time using these shampoos will strip the natural shine and cause really bad split ends because of the wax build up, pantene at first gives you shine but after pro long use the wax builds up and when you brush or comb your hair all you are doing is pulling the wax down the hair down shaft. I have seen people with split ends all up and

down there hair who just wanted there hair completely cut off, I convinced them not to do that and worked with them on their hair by bringing it back to life with 8 weeks trims and the right kind of shampoo and conditioner, which was very successful. Using the right kind of shampoo and conditioner for your hair type is very important. Professional shampoo is concentrated and last so much longer than store brands because you dilute it yourself, store bought products use alot of water in their shampoo which isn't giving you what you need. There isn't a difference between men in women in hair growth eventhough in women menapause could be a factor in men it could be male pattern baldness herdited from the mothers side, but following theses steps you would promote hair growth. If you lose your hair you would need have a hair transplant to place hair back into your root and then try and promote that root to grow, which is alot of work and time and very expensive.

About 50 to 100 milligrams a day of vitamin B6 taken for one or two months helps decrease hair fall. A medicine rich in sulfur is also recommended as sulfur plays an important part in the structure of the hair. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

Can adderall cause hair loss or hair thinning? If so, is it reversible?

I've been taking adderall for about 6 years and never had any problems with my hair until recently. It's thinning pretty badly on the crown of my head. Hair loss runs in my family, but not until late 50s.

FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall a lot? Don't worry, you're not alone. Millions of people from all around the world suffer from dry, brittle and weak hair. Some of the possible reasons for falling hair are:

Tension

Too much work

Illness

Poor diet

Over-exposure to the sun

Perming

Amateur bleaching

Too frequent and inexpert use of tints, rinses or other colourants

Here is what you can do to prevent hair fall

Shampoo regularly. Remember, a CLEAN scalp is a HEALTHY SCALP.

Brahmi amla oil also promotes hair growth.

A high protein diet with plenty of fruits, green vegetables and dairy products is a must.

Drink 10-12 glass of water everyday.

Use a very mild shampoo and condition your hair at least twice a week. When you do, make sure you rinse out the conditioner thoroughly, otherwise residue build-up will cause your hair to look limp and dull.

Know your vitamins! IRON is important for healthy hair and brittle, limp hair indicates an iron deficiency. Spinach has a good iron content, so gulp it down!

ZINC helps prevent hair loss and greying. Eat adequate zinc rich foods. Overweight people tend to have zinc deficiency, which is inversely related to the body mass index. Thus if you are overweight and if your hair falls too much, you may want to increase your intake of zinc containing foods. Recipes containing stone ground, wholegrain flour are rich in zinc.

A shortfall in VITAMIN B may cause dandruff, falling hair, loss of colour and could encourage grey hair. So B group Vitamins are essential for gloss, colour and thickness.

VITAMIN C ensures the health of capillaries supplying blood to hair follicles. Make sure your diet includes plenty of fresh fruits and veggies.

VITAMIN E encourages hair growth. Switch from refined flours to wholemeal and wheatgerm, eggs, vegetable oil.

COPPER stops hair from falling. Studies show that the copper content in the blood serum of people with falling hair is less than normal. Different types of alopecia (falling hair) are seen to have a deficiency of this important trace element. Include small quantities of nuts, especially cashews and peanuts, seeds, whole milk and beans in your diet as these contain minute but important amounts of copper.

Homemade remedies for preventing hair fall:

Apply almond oil on scalp and massage.

Grind fenugreek seeds in water and apply on your scalp. Wash off after 40 minutes. Do this every morning for a month é—…å“£ if it suits you! Remember, different treatments suit different types of hair.

Massage warm castor oil + almond oil into your scalp gently. Wrap a hot towel around your scalp so it gets absorbed into the hair. Do this twice a week for healthy, shiny hair.

Add 2-3 drops of honey to a glass of water and use this as the last rinse after shampooing.

Quick Hair Care Conditioner

Mix 1 egg, 2 tbs castor oil, 1 tsp vinegar and 1 tsp glycerine. Beat until frothy and massage lightly into your scalp. Wrap your head in a hot towel, steam, then wash off. This conditioner makes hair thicker, shiny, soft and manageable.

Honey Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs (depending on the length of the hair), 1 tsp honey and 2 tsp olive oil. Massage gently into the scalp. Steam, and shampoo after an hour.

Alcohol Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs with 2 tsp brandy. Massage into your scalp. Leave for 10-15 mins. Rinse well. The egg nourishes your hair and brandy stimulates hair growth.

Your hair is a vital beauty asset, requiring constant loving care. And with a little nurturing, lush, glossy hair will be yours

ESSENTIALS FOR FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall often Arm yourself with these tools to combat hair fall.

Wide-toothed comb

Get yourself a wide-toothed comb. This is probably one of the most important yet underutilized of all hair tools. A wide-toothed comb helps you distribute conditioner evenly all over your hair while shampooing and conditioning. In addition, it also helps get rid of knots smoothly.

The best time to get rid of knots is during conditioning. Apply conditioner and run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair.

While untangling dry hair, do so in sections. Take one section at a time, and first, untangle the ends of your hair. Do so slowly, and don?t pull unless you want your hair to fall out in clumps or break.

Don?t wait for the last minute before detangling your hair. Every night, while sitting in front of the television, run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair, until you have untangled it completely. Do this every night, and you will notice that your hair remains free from tangles.

Leave-in conditioner

Dry hair tends to tangle easily, and, needless to say, causes it to break. Make sure your hair is never devoid of moisture by always keeping a bottle of leave-in conditioner handy. The next time you feel your hair is dry and rough to the touch, simply rub a dollop of leave-in conditioner between your palms, and apply it to your hair. Comb through with your wide toothed comb. Your hair will be instantly rejuvenated and moisturized. Gradually, the texture will also improve. This is a must if you blow dry your hair regularly, or if it is chemically treated. Such hair constantly craves moisture, so get yourself a bottle of leave-in conditioner.

Oil

Olive, almond and coconut oils are all excellent for the hair. While you could apply oil as an alternative to leave-in conditioner, oil tends to make your hair sticky, and you cannot style your hair well after applying oil. Your only alternative would then be to tie up your hair. For better results with oil, apply just a few drops immediately after washing your hair, when your hair is still dripping wet. Oil doesn?t penetrate the strands as easily as leave-in conditioner does though. Nothing beats a hot oil massage followed by a steam treatment, as the steam helps the oil penetrate the hair strands, strengthening them and curtailing hair fall.

Egg

Egg is great for the hair ? there are no two ways about it! True, it causes a tremendous stink in the bathroom, and your hair may let off an ?eggy? smell, but the results are instantaneous and worth it! Egg strengthens your hair almost immediately, and the egg yolk leaves your hair shining. Whip an egg with two tablespoons of olive oil and apply it to your hair. Wash off after half an hour. Make sure you wash off with cold water though, or the egg will start cooking in your hair, and would be harder to take off! Use a scented shampoo to counter the smell of egg in your hair, and follow up with a leave-in conditioner. Do this for a month, and you will be amazed by the change in your hair texture and the reduction in hair fall.

Thick hair-- thinning treatments??

My hair is very thick, very very thick. I've gotten it thinned out 7 times at the salon, yet it's still verayyy thick!! But the top of my hair, is even thicker, because the razor brush can only thin the body of the hair. Is there any proffessional treatment i can do at a salon, so it can thin out all of my hair completely. I need a drastic change!

Thick hair-- thinning treatments??

the more you get it thinned the more it grows back thicker... the bodies natural way of protecting itself...

Thick hair-- thinning treatments??

You could use hair thinning lotions.

Thick hair-- thinning treatments??

Not that I know of, unfortunately you'll have to keep getting it thinned.

Why are there different hair types?(such as thick and thin).?

Genetics! Different blends come out with different hair textures.

Hair problems, need help on more than one problem.?

My main question is thinning hair!! I had my thyroid taken out for cancer, they have me on meds, and since I have been having my hair fall out quite a bit. I have been using Nioxin for a few weeks, but don't seem to help. My hair looks in good condition when fixed, but thin!! Does anyone know if hair color has a shelf life? I have had some hair color for awhile, but afraid to use it due to thinning hair, and I mean falling out. I am almost ready to cut it all off and get a wig!!! Help!!!

Hair problems, need help on more than one problem.?

Throw the hair color away. If you must color go to the store and get some without ANY ammonia. DO NOT lightenen or streak your hair, it will strip it. Understand that a wig will inhibit growth and your hair will get thinner (you know the same thing with guys and ball caps). Treat your hair to lots of conditioning. My step-mother went through the same thing and her hair did eventually come back full and thick. (she is in her 70's now and has great hair). I am so sorry about all you have been through. I know I would be concerned as my hair is kinda my archilles heel. I am very vain about it. I am not big on hair salons for this kind of thing as they tend to "cattle" you through unless you know of a real good one. Just no ammonia in the color. You take care and good luck.

Hair problems, need help on more than one problem.?

BUY NEW COLOR. AND IF WILL HELP GIVE YOU VOLUME. IS YOUR HAIR SHORT OR LONG.

IF ITS LONG, CUT IT OFF. THIN HAIR LONG DOESN'T LOOK GOOD.

Hair problems, need help on more than one problem.?

Due to a similar situation, my hair falls out and gets very thin a few times a year. I find that I lose hair by the handful for a few months then it stops for a good 4-6 months. To combat this problem I get it trimmed more frequently so that the ends don't get wispy or split, which gives a fuller look. I generally use Nexxus Hair products, they have a few special products for thinning hair, one is a leave in treatment called Vitatress Biotin Creme, it helps. I also take a special hair %26amp; skin vitamin that contains biotin and other good stuff. You might consider having your hormone levels checked as well.

Hair colourant can thicken your hair a bit, but if you are in doubt about expiration I'd just buy new or consider henna, it's natural and really helps thicken hair. Goodluck : )

Hair problems, need help on more than one problem.?

don't use the hair color, throw it out. I really would not use hair color right now. Why not leave your hair alone and just try some wigs without cutting your real hair. I don't want to suggest that you cut your hair because I have no idea what it looks like. Get some opinions by poeple that can see your hair. Maybe it would look thicker if it was shorter, I don't know. Wearing a wig or hat DOES NOT stop hair growth and does not make it fall out. Good luck

Hair problems, need help on more than one problem.?

Everyday spend about 5-10 minutes massaging your hair with your fingers. Move your fingers circularly all over the head starting from the temporal parts to the occipital area. Apply the necessary pressure to the areas. Even Yoga exercises such as the headstand are recommended for proper circulation to all the parts, especially the hair follicles to stimulate growth.

There are various types of massaging techniques, which can be followed. Indonesian style is best suited for relieving mental tension and improving the quality of the hair. The massaging steps are given below in detail:

1) Stand with your feet apart and start breathing in and out

2) Bend from the waist till the level of your head falls below the waist area.

3) Bring your feet close to each other and start rubbing your scalp with your knuckles all over your head for about half a minute.

4) Slowly start bringing your body to the normal level and continue rubbing on the scalp.

Be careful that when you are massaging your scalp, do not massage roughly. The hair fibers may split causing you pain and damage to the hair. So massage gently and thoroughly.

Thinning hair what do i do?

I'm almost 17, healthy, but my hair is thinning out. what should i do to make it thicker?

Thinning hair what do i do?

Don't wear hats so much. I ahve heard putting rosemary or listerine on your hair will stimulate growth. There is rogaine for men and women. I would ask the doctor also since maybe you have some sort of imbalance in your body, hormonal or nutritional. Take vitamins and eat Jello- the gelatin does good things for your body.

Thinning hair what do i do?

Start with a product that helps stop hair loss and/or grows back hair. go to folica.com they have many products that could help you.

Thinning hair what do i do?

First, if you aren't sure why this is happening, consult your physician. There are several health reasons that can cause this, as it is fairly unusual in someone so young.

Second, if your hair truly is thinning and you have seen a doctor, you can use Nioxin hair care products (found at select salon retailers nationwide). They are made specifically for thinning hair and I absolutely love their scalp treatment.

Hair Thinning help?

hey i am a 15 year old male and i am looking to get my hair thinned

i have never got this done before

A. How much does it cost

B. How thin does it go

C.Where to go and get it done

D.How much hair must i have

F.Does it take away bangs

Hair Thinning help?

A. It's part of getting a regular haircut if you think to ask.

B. As thin as the stylist sees necessary...they don't thin it out from the scalp...its a few inches out...it thins the middle of your hair so you just don't have so much thickness that makes it poofy.

C. Any salon will do it.

D. You have to have a lot of hair for a stylist to be willing to thin it out.

F. No it doesn't take away bangs. All thinning shears do is cut out strands at a time, it doesn't cut it out like you think it does.

Why do you want your hair thinned?

Hair Thinning help?

A. depends on where you live from 10 dollars up.

B. as thin as you want it.

C. Go to a beauty shop not a barber

D. You can thin out any thickness of hair.

F. I dont know what you skipped E, but thinning hair doesnt remove bangs.

I Want My Hair Thinned!!!!?

I have really thick long hair and i desperatly want it to be thin, sleek and NORMAL but everytime i go to the hairdressers, it never is thinner when she's finished, even though shes thinned it out, what can i say to her (is there a certain name for thin sleek hair?) to make her make it thin like normal people :'(

I Want My Hair Thinned!!!!?

I get my hair thinned out all the time.

I am VERY specific when I ask about it.

When you make your next appointment, you need to ask them which stylist is familiar with thinning techniques using scissors rather than thinning shears. If they come back at you with an actual person, then they know what you are talking about.

The key is to wash, dry, and straighten your hair with an iron first... THEN cut and thin out your hair. try to avoid thinning shear since it makes dry hair appear damaged, and try to go to a salon where the stylists are masters with scissors or razors, and they will know exactly what you mean.

I Want My Hair Thinned!!!!?

At your next appointment, ask wHAT THEY really DO TO GET HAIR THINNED OUT. iF YOU DON'T WANT TO USE THOSE EXPENSIVE STRAIGHTENING TREATMENTS THAT GIVE YOU SLEEK HAIR, THEN USE A RELaxer or hair mask. Also, ask for a lot of layers which take out the bulk of your hair. Good luck and sorry about the Caps Lock! (:

I Want My Hair Thinned!!!!?

keep your hair thick, trust me!! i used to have thick hair and i always wanted it to be thin and manageable. now its really thin from too many visits to the salon, and i desperatly want it to be thick again. don't make the same mistake i did!

I Want My Hair Thinned!!!!?

ok u ask for a razor thinning cut and u will get it first ask her if she knows how to razor cut if she dont ask for somebody whom does girl u will get that look then i promise darn i wish i could do it o love to tear into thick hair needing thinned out

I Want My Hair Thinned!!!!?

I had the same situation years ago. I used to get my hair thinned but it never worked. The only solution I found to keep my hair shinny and sleek was with a hair straightener, they work wonders if you get a good one. I would recomend a Chi or one from a salon that has moisture control. Good luck.

This is my husbands account: My hair is naturally curly, but it is wavy and thin on top, and thick,

curly on the bottom. whatever haircut i get, i always seem to have a triangular head, because my hair on the bottom just curls when i get layers. Do you have a ny tips for making the top curls curlier, or for relaxing the bottom curls?

This is my husbands account: My hair is naturally curly, but it is wavy and thin on top, and thick, dark, and?

Have you tried the standard relaxing creams? That would definitley work. If you don't want to try that, then you could always use a hair-straightener on the bottom half of your hair. When you get your hair cut, get the bottom half thinned out. They have thinning scissors that work awesome, so that would make the longer parts look and feel a lot thinner. Carpe Diem!

This is my husbands account: My hair is naturally curly, but it is wavy and thin on top, and thick, dark, and?

straighten the ends OR

when your hair's damp, put a De-Frizz Serum in your hair. then put it in a high ponytail and twist it into a bun. secure it with a hair elastic.

when your hair's dry, let out the bun. when your hair comes out the curls will be evenly placed all around your head, but pretty so it's not crazy AT ALL. it'll be nicely waved and make your head have more of an oval face shape.

This is my husbands account: My hair is naturally curly, but it is wavy and thin on top, and thick, dark, and?

You could use a ceramic flat iron (CHI is the best) with some heat protective cream and use it the curl/smooth your ends under. They wont be "curly ends" but they will be smooth and sleek and will go under or..out if you want them to.

Hair thinning. . .?

My hair has always been soo thin nut not balding thin. It gets stringy instantly and it makes me look like trash until I brush it. Does anybody have any advise on how to geet thick and full hair?

Hair thinning. . .?

Once you start ANY hair growth product you have to continue to use it forever! no joke! Genetic hair loss is common, I have it too. I can only do ONE treatment to my hair, so I color it. Any more then it literally falls out or breaks off.

I wore weaves for years- now just wear it short and wigs at times.

Its healthy hair, just skinny and thin. Sucks I know. But hey- that's life. I had to wear a hat at the beach.

start inside out- eat the right things to encourage growth and get a blood panel done to check your hormones and thyroid.

Hair loss is a symptom of many internal issues.

I wish you the best- I take prenatal vitamins all the time and my hair/nails and skin really appreciate that.

Best wishes babe!

Hair thinning. . .?

Go to Nioxin's website and do a needs assessment. They will tell you which one of their products work best for you. If you don't want to use that product I also would like to suggest Redken. Lots of luck to you. ( Go with the Nioxin!)

Hair thinning. . .?

There is this brand that I used to thicken my hair a little. It really did for a year I used it. I didn't use it anymore but I notice I don't lose that much anymore. It's dark green and it's a serum - Gosh I can't remember what that is! But I also combine the effort with having less stress and relax and exercise more. Good luck!

Hair thinning. . .?

check for shampoos that say volumizing

Hair thinning. . .?

jojoba oil mixed with essence oils of lavender, rosemary, and clary sage. Also massage the scalp daily. And if brave enough, do head stands on a regular basis, (I'm not being scarastic) the reason for this is to increase blood flow, both procedures.

Hair thinning. . .?

Eat more protein, and take vitamins. Try to use quality hair products, try some mouse and blow drying, gently of course, brush from end to top trying not to tug. Stress is horrible on hair also, try to reduce your stress levels and exercise more. Eat more eggs, they are great for the hair, massage the scalp several times a day too for circulation, and maybe see your doc. Certain meds can also thin the hair, are you on any that can do that? I switch hair products weekly also, seems using the same thing week after week makes my hair dull.

Hair thinning. . .?

buy shampoos that have volumizers in them

Hair thinning. . .?

Take Biotin (it's a vitamin). It'll help your hair grow fast!

Do you beleive natural hair regrowth institutes that claim to regrow hair hold true?

natural hair regrowth institute that has laser scalp treatments massages and vitamin packages is it worth going for this program over hair transplantation? i have very thin hair at this point

Do you beleive natural hair regrowth institutes that claim to regrow hair hold true?

I am a stylist and I have heard great things about the Nexxus VitaTress Thinning Hair Solutions program. It is a non-drug approach to regrowing hair. What it does is it creates the perfect environment on your scalp to grow hair. It attacks all 7 reasons for hair loss. Give it a try, I'm sure it is a lot safer and less exspensive!

You may want to check with your doctor or ask a pharmacist. I believe women can be prescribed medication to treat thinning hair.

You could get hair extensions.

Is there any solution for my hair?

i am 18 years old. i have really thin hair. and my hair has been falling a lot for the last one year. it used to fall very little but now it's like crazy. i feel that i am going to go bald in a year and this really scares me. i am scared to even brush my hair because when i do that i see so much hair on the comb and it's just really sad. is there any solution to stop hair from falling and make it thicker?

Is there any solution for my hair?

Well my advice for you is to use a thickening shampoo. For example, Pantene Pro-V full %26amp; thick. It will make your hair look fuller. I also advise you to take Vitamin E %26amp; Fish Oil Vitamins which will make your hair look fuller and healthier and shinier. Also you should see our doctor. It can be something relating to your health and could become a real problem. So do all of the above and you should have a full head of beautiful locks in no time!

Is there any solution for my hair?

i would go see a doctor...there are medical reasons that can do this....lack of certain vitamins can also do this....i would go talk to a doctor and see if they can help...and if nothing is medically wrong they hair different things you can do...wigs...hair implants...horse shampoo to make your hair grow and thicken it.....hope this helps

Is there any solution for my hair?

no ponytails

Is there any solution for my hair?

I felt like i had the same situation this year. I used to have reallyyyy thick hair. I used to straighten my hair everyday too, i would get home knowing i wasn't going anywhere and straighten my hair when it did not need to be straightened. OCD anyone? haha. So i decided to stop in like february, because my hair would fall out so much and my brushes and combs always had hair in them after i brushed. So i stopped straightening and the wavy look worked for me, which is a good thing. Buy matrix volumizing shampoo and conditioner to make it look thicker. And just wait for it to grow back. If you're hair is knotty it can cause your hair to be pulled out too.

Every ten years your hair changes texture. So you may have thick hair one day. Take care of your hair : )

Is there any solution for my hair?

you should do all of the things the gilrs above me siad and also if you want to keep your hair healthy start getting weekly deep conditioned at a salon. it restores ur hair to its healthiest point it worked for me becuz my hair was falling off do to damage and i started getting weekly deep conditioned and nothing fell off!

Is there any solution for my hair?

There's a hair product called Nioxin thats supposed to be good for falling hair.. u can get at salons and the salon inside walmart sells it too. Check and make sure and u can go to the website http://www.nioxin.com/ to learn more about their prodcts.

There can be other reasons why ur hair is falling out... poor nutrition (you need your vitamins), also too much vitamins (like overdose amount) can make your hair fall out, stress, maybe u are combing it too rough, or if u swim in pools that have too much chlorine (u will know it has too much.. u can smell it and your eyes burn) and u are not washing your hair good enough then they can happen too. but.. try nioxin and se the website.

Thinning your hair makes it poofy?

Okay so I used to have really long and curly hair with no layers, then I got a hair cut (not really but...) and I layered my hair. I asked the person who was cutting my hair to thin my hair and they said that would make it poofy and layering it would make it thinner, but it didnt. So would it be okay if I got it thinned?

Thinning your hair makes it poofy?

well my hair's sorta like urs and i got it thinned. and it just basically cuts ur hair in half. i dont really know how to explain it but after like 3 weeks or so there's a bunch of curly frizzes at the top of ur head. but u could try thinning it.

Thinning your hair makes it poofy?

yea i asked my hairsylest the same thing he said it makes it poofier

Thin a little longer then shoulder length hair...what to do with it?

I have kinda bright blonde hair that is a little past my shoulders.... i am so bored with it.... how do i get it curly with out it being nasty by the middle of the day? any sudgestions??

Thin a little longer then shoulder length hair...what to do with it?

use a curling iron in the morning and put a little hair spray in it. Or put curler things in your hair over night.

Thin a little longer then shoulder length hair...what to do with it?

first of all thin hair really needs OSMO ESSENCE "Sea Spray"

http://www.girlznight.co.uk/shop/hair/os...

It's amazing it will make your hair look and feel thicker, but clean..

Second add some bangs...

Can you upload a picture so i can really help you?

Thin a little longer then shoulder length hair...what to do with it?

I have the same thing u do.....thin blonde hair that is long a lil bit past the shoulder, and yes it does get boring! Curling it w/ a regular curling iron works temporarily but b/c of my hair being thin the curls fall out and my hair looks crappy after a while. However the solution i found to curl my hair AND to keep it in my hair for a long time and it still look good for a long time is using a sprial curling iron. Also I use patene pro-v volumizer shampoo. It gives my hair volume. All other shampoos make my hair feel greasy after I use them few times.

http://www.builderdepot.com/HelenofTroy_...

It takes me about an hour to do my entire head. The results are wonderful though!! :-) Once u've finished curling ur hair w/ the curling iron u might be like Whoa! My hair it looks like i'm from the 1800's..cuz its a very tight curl..however just put ur fingers through it and shake it a bit..then it'll get ur hair the way u want it

Here is a picture of my hair curly from using the spiral curling iron (the wind was blowing that day tho)....

http://www.cardensdesign.com/photography...

Thin a little longer then shoulder length hair...what to do with it?

I have the same problem. I took the clamp off my curling iron. I clip up the top section, curl the bottom, and put a little bit of StudioLine Curl Defying hair gel on each curl. Then I curl the top section. I get tons of compliments, and it looks like you JUST curled it!

Thin a little longer then shoulder length hair...what to do with it?

well i think your hair is very ugly. we dyed black but fading out to blonde hair types are the best. I think you need to shave it all off cept for a buzz cut and dye the buzz cut forest green. that is what you should do.

Getting hair thinned????

When u get ur hair thinned like does it get really thin or just what and what do they do to thin it is like layers or what and say i have really really thick hair if i get it thinned would it be easier to strighten???

Getting hair thinned????

it's super layers. And it's really thin after. My friend had to get her hair thinned to get it permenently straightened. Yes it is easier to straighten.

Getting hair thinned????

NOO! i wouldn't do it..I have done it before because like urs my hair is very thick, it didnt take any less time to straighten and my hair got VERY frizzy and so the little hairs that they thinned where sticking up EVERYWHERE it was horrible i will never do it again it only made me hair worst... hope this helps;)
