Well I have thick hair so when I straighten it, it becomes thinner. So if you have thin hair, Your hair is going to be really flat(blah). Plus it would draw more attention to your round face. Your lucky cuz if your hairs thin and curly you dont have a lot of frizz(unlike me) But it kind of sounds like you want a change. So either get highlights or loosen your curls.

I don't suggest doing it pin straight because then it will just seem to cling to your face. I have found that a lot of layers and blowdrying with a round brush (then straightening near those pain in the butt curly roots) and flipping out the ends works wonders. :)

What I would do is, if you don't own straighteners, ask a friend or go to a hair salon and ask them to straighten your hair. If you dont like it, then all you have to do is wash you hair and it will go back to being curly. =) You don't know until you try!! =) x

Try it! If you don't have a straightener, borrow a friends so you don't waste money if you don't like it. "You never know until you try!" I would say there is no absolute answer, most of the time you may love your unique curly hair, but for special occasions or if you have a lot of time on your hands and you feel like being classy, straighten! You can curl the ends for softness, and also experiment with different styles to make your face seem thinner. I also have a chubby looking face with curly (frizzy...) hair and I love to straighten it and experiment with updo's and half pony tails and other styles that help to thin out my face. Good luck, have fun with it, and remember its the attitude (positive!) you have about yourself that makes your appearance!

Try it. I mean I love curly hair, never tried it but I think it would look nice on me. If your hair is silky and maybe even brownish black, or it goes with your skin colour then sure try it. Straight hair would look only if it goes with your face and skin colour. I am telling you to try it because, later you shouldn't feel like you haven't missed anything.
