I have very thick hair and I would really like to get it thinned but I don't know if it really makes it thinner and if it's worth it. I'm afraid of it getting too thin or something. So do you recommend getting your hair thinned?

i wouldn't. . . i know a lot of people that have thin hair and say i wish my hair was as thick as yours. . . i know its hard maintaing with thick hair but it looks better than thin hair. . .

I have thick hair and get it thinned every six weeks. It's like, a gift from god! Seriously, get it done, you have nothing to worry about, but it does quickly grow back. Good luck!!!! I hope i helped!!! :)

I've never had it done, but its not like your hair is going to continue falling out. My neighbor had very thick curly hair and she got it thinned, and she recommended it to me. So, i think you're safe. Hair stylists usually know the right thinness your hair needs and probably will not make it too thin, if thats what you are worried about.

Honestly, I have very thick hair also and bought a pair of thinning shears for myself. I do it myself maybe twice a year and it does wonders for me. I feel so much lighter, and my hair is easier to manage. If you get it done too much, you'll have very uneven hair, but maybe two to three times a year is ok. World of difference for me.
