Get your hair cut into long layers, just a few I would say 3 layers, make sure you specify LONG layers otherwise you might end up with short hair. I too have long hair and have long layers it gives it a nice thick affect and it also adds body to by hair so it doesnt look quite so flat. If you do not want to cut your hair I would recommend using a comb and teesing your hair to give it a fuller look.

I DO HAIR... EVEN THOUGHT PEOPLE HAVE MADE SOME GOOD POINTS.. YOU DONT HAVE TO CUT YOUR HAIR TO MAKE IT LOOK THICK... WHAT YOU CAN DO IT GO GET THE SET ROLLER... YOU CAN FIND THEM AT WAL MART,.. WASH YOUR HIAR REALLY WELL THEN LET IT AIR DRY ... AFTER THAT PUT YOU CURLEERS IN .. LET IT SITT FOR ABOUT 2 TO 3 HOURS SICE YOU HAIR IS LONG ... WHEN TAKING THEM OUT SPARY WITH MOOSE AND REMOVE THEN SLOWLIE THEN YOU CAN RUN A WIDE TOOTH COMB THROUGH IT FIX IT HOW YOU WOULD LIKE ...... THERE GO YOUR THICK HAIR............. OR YOU CAN JUST GO GET IT DONE ...BUT TRUST ME ITS GONE COST

mine is also thin straight hair.i think a razor cut towards front and a v cut , deep u or straight cut at the back may look good.just ask ur beautician's advice before getting a haircut.
