I have thin blonde hair that is about an inch below my collar bone. i want to grow it out but it looks so thin. i am thinking about getting it cut with layers. will that make it look thinner? how can i make my hair look thicker?

well it tends to somewhat make it thinner and more managable but i would recommend getting your haired thinned. when your getting you hair cut ask the stylist for you hair to be thinned out. After they thin it they can cut it whatever way you want them too. afterwards your hair will be thinner and more managable, but for now love your thick hair!

I have the same problem I had really thick hair when I was a kid and now I don't. I get layers cut into my hair a lot and it makes my hair look thinner so I am gonna grow them out. I just depends but it probably won't help you with the volume. I would keep them at one length and cut them a little shorter. Also try a volumizing shampoo I use Herbal Essences volume it really helps.
