Hair falling out in shower, when I shampoo/condition the tips?

Simple question. I've noticed lately, when I wash my hair, when I pull my hair back as if I was putting it in a pony tail, when I get to the tips, my hair will come out. Its as if it fell out, because I don't feel it ripping out, and it only happens in the shower.

I notice about 5-10 strands can come out every shower. I'm a bit worried, because it only started happening a month or two ago.

Nothing has changed in my life, so I can't imagine it being because of the foods I eat, or stress. It worries me, because if it keeps happening, I don't want my hair to thin (I already have thin hair)

Any help is appreciated!

You are supposed to lose about 100 strands of hair a day so it is perfectly normal. But if you are still worried go to a dr.

THat happens to me too. no worries though, humans lose an average of 100 hairs a day! also, if your hair is longer, this seems to happen more frequently, but it's acutally just the old strands getting replaced with new ones...

Try taking Biotin. Most stores sell it. All the men in my family swear by it!

Hi ..no expert but if you feel no dietary concerns and going through no undue stress, its normal to shed hair on a daily basis. If you feel its abnormal for you, coming away in clumps etc, perhaps best to seek medical advice, but dont worry .....dont want you going bald (only kidding)
